Who are the Woodcraft Folk? What do we do and where do we do it? Camping and other outdoors stuff Our Woodcraft neighbours Links Home

What do we actually do?
Woodcraft Folk groups meet weekly during school term time in North and East Finchley. They enjoy a varied programme, including games, drama, singing, art/craft work; as well as following an educational programme based on co-operation.

We also go camping, youth hostelling, and on other exciting expeditions, such as canoeing and back-packing.

What makes us special?
. It's co-operative. We encourage children and young people to work together and to share their skills and enthusiasm.

. Our international links enable us to realise our motto:
Span the World with Friendship.
. It is open to people of all backgrounds and religions.
It aims to empower young people to make decisions themselves and to take an active part in shaping the world around them.
It is dedicated to building a more peaceful future.
It promotes an understanding of the need to protect our environment and the world's resources.
